Description of Change: The radiator group has been updated. Six new angle assemblies and two new front brackets are used in the radiator group. The new parts are made from thicker material. The new parts are 10 mm (0.4 inch) thick. The former parts were 6 mm (0.24 inch) thick. The new parts will better handle the vibration of the radiator and the movement of the radiator. This will reduce the failures of the new parts.
When the angle assemblies and the front brackets fail, the radiator cores move. Fluid leaks from the cores. The movement of the cores can cause internal damage to the cores. The new parts are installed with longer bolts. The reduction in the failures of the new parts will improve the field service of the machines.
Adaptable To: The 180-6599 Radiator Gp has been updated. The four new 294-8027 Angle As replace the four former 149-2654 Angle As. The two new 294-8026 Angle As replace the two former 152-1860 Angle As. The two new 294-8021 Front Bracket (RH) replace the two former 152-1740 Front Brackets (RH). The 24 new 8T-4195 Bolts replace the 24 former 8T-4136 Bolts.
The new parts are adaptable back to the beginning of production for both machines. The new parts became effective in production with the machine JSM251-UP.
