Removal Procedure

1. Open the engine access doors.

2. Attach a suitable lifting device to precleaner (1) .

3. Disconnect hose (2) from body assembly (3) .

4. Disconnect hose (6) from air cleaner assembly (5) .

5. Disconnect harness assembly (7) .

6. Remove bolts (8) .

7. Loosen clamp (4) and raise precleaner (1) and body assembly (3) to the hood. Remove air cleaner assembly (5) .

8. Loosen clamp (9) in order to remove precleaner (1) from body assembly (3) (not shown).

   Note: Use two people in order to remove precleaner (1) from body assembly (3). One person will loosen the clamp while the other person supports the body assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Position precleaner (1) onto body assembly (3). Tighten clamp (9) .

   Note: Use two people in order to attach precleaner (1) to body assembly (3). One person will tighten the clamp while the other person supports the body assembly.

2. Attach a suitable lifting device to precleaner (1) .

3. Raise precleaner (1) and body assembly (3) to the hood.

4. Position air cleaner assembly (5) and install bolts (8) .

5. Connect harness assembly (7) .

6. Connect hose (6) to air cleaner assembly (5) .

7. Position precleaner (1) and body assembly (3) to air cleaner assembly (5). Tighten clamp (4) .

8. Connect hose (2) to body assembly (3) .

9. Close the engine access doors.
