Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the piston and vane pump (8). Install the piston and vane pump (8). Install bolts (9). The weight of the piston and vane pump (8) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb).

2. Connect tube assembly (6). Install bolts (5). Connect hose assemblies (4) and (7) .

3. Connect hose assemblies (1), (2), and (3) .

4. Fill the implement hydraulic system. Refer to the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

End By:

1. Install the brake pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vane Pump (Braking) - Install".
2. Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install".
