Hydraulic Tank

Change Filter and Clean Breather

1. Slowly loosen the tank filler cap (1).

2. Remove the hydraulic tank breather. Wash the breather in clean non-flammable solvent. Before installing check for damage and if necessary replace.

3. Remove and discard the filter cartridge. The cartridge will contain oil. Clean the filter housing base.

4. Apply a thin film of oil to the new filter seal.

5. Install the new filter and tighten by hand 3/4 of a turn after it has contacted the housing.

The method used for the disposal of waste oil, oil soaked rags and cleaning materials must comply with local environmental regulations.
