Use 6V4828 Snap Ring Pliers To Remove Snap Rings From Turbocharger Housing

Usage:

In the past it was difficult to remove the lower snap ring from the inside bores of turbocharger housings. Access to the small deep bores is limited by the turbocharger housing which gets in the way of the snap ring access holes. Formerly, modifications were made to regular snap ring pliers to get the necessary clearance to remove the snap rings.

The 6V4828 Snap Ring Pliers are now available to remove these "deep hole" snap rings. These extra long needle nose pliers have been made with the tips off center. The serviceman can see the location of the tips better when the pliers are in the hole. This makes it easier to remove the snap rings.

The pliers also have other tooling applications for components such as hydraulic valves, which have similar "deep hole" snap rings.
