  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel (3). The weight of flywheel (3) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb).

  1. Remove one bolt (1). Remove another bolt (1) that is 180 degrees from the first bolt. Install Tooling (B) .

  1. Remove remaining bolts (1) .

  1. Remove flywheel (3). Slide the flywheel off Tooling (B) .

  1. Inspect ring gear (2). Replace the ring gear, if necessary. Place the flywheel on a wood block. Use a hammer and a punch in order to remove the ring gear.
