Engine Oil Pump - Assemble
Assembly Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Inspect the condition of the O-ring seals. Replace O-ring seals, if necessary.
Note: Lubricate all internal parts of the engine oil pump with clean engine oil.
- Install drive shaft (3) in the housing.

- Raise the temperature of gear (6). Install gear (6) on the end of drive shaft (3) .
- Install idler gear (7) in the housing.
- Install O-ring seal (4) on housing (5) .
- Install cover (2) and bolts (1) .

The pump must rotate freely by hand after assembly. |
End By: Install the engine oil pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pump - Install".
