In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS42948" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.
If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

Replace the IEC circuit breaker with an UL circuit breaker.
1. Isolate Genset before commencing any work on the unit; Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times. Also, ensure proper Lock Out-Tag Out procedures are followed at all times while work is being performed on the system. Lock out generator before commencing any type of work.
2. Remove the circuit breaker cover as detailed in the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
3. Confirm the system is isolated at the load side and disconnect power cables on the load side.
4. Disconnect the power cables at the generator side of the circuit breaker.
5. Remove the circuit breaker assembly from the circuit breaker bracket, this will require two people. Remove the copper lugs and neutral bar if replacement parts have been listed.
6. From the ordered parts, follow the instructions to sub assemble the circuit breaker.
7. Install replacement circuit breaker sub assembly to the circuit breaker bracket using the existing hardware following the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
8. Reconnect power cables to the generator side then the load side following Operation and Maintenance Manual.
9. Run functional test on circuit breaker.
10. Install cover panel. Clear generator area and put system back into service. |
