Engine Crankcase Breather - Clean

- Loosen the hose clamp (2). Remove the hose (3) from the breather.

- Remove bolt (1). Remove the breather (4) and the O-ring seal.
- Wash the breather (4) in clean nonflammable solvent. Dry the breather (4) with pressure air.
- Install the O-ring seal. Install the clean breather.
- Tighten the bolt (1) to a torque of 7 ± 2 N·m (5 ± 1 lb ft).
- Install the hose (3) onto the breather (4). Tighten the hose clamp (2) .
- Close the engine compartment.
