Usage:
This LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE CHART lists those items commonly ordered on this engine and which require servicing.
The service intervals are based on the numbers showing on the engine's service meter. Use the daily readings of the Service Meter to determine maintenance intervals. For those items which require periodic maintenance and cannot be given a definite service hour interval, see the column "WHEN TO SERVICE".
Perform the maintenance required at multiples of each unit. "EVERY 10" means to perform that maintenance at each 10, 20, 30, etc., Service Meter Units. "EVERY 125" means to perform that maintenance at 125, 250, 375, 500, 625, 750, 875, and 1000 service meter units; and then, after each 1000 units repeat the same maintenance at the same interval. Similarly, use this same procedure for all intervals shown. "EVERY 2000" means every 2000 Service Meter Units, or once every 12 months.
For items marked (*), see the section "KEY TO FUELS, LUBRICANTS AND WATER" of this chart. "PAGE" refers to the Section and Page number in the LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES where detailed service instructions are given for that item.
