Description of Change: New thrust discs with hardened teeth are now used to extend the life of the discs. Also, new hardened thrust washers with accompanying brass wear washers are now used to reduce wear into the case of limited slip differentials.

Adaptable To: This change is effective with D25D (1HK676), D30D (3AJ415), D250E (5TN1092), D300E (7FN525), D350E (9LR334), and D400E (2YR544) Articulated Trucks, and is adaptable to earlier machines including D20D (9MG), D40D (2JJ), D250D (6NG), D300D (5MG), D350D (9RF), D400D (8TF) Articulated Trucks.

To adapt the new thrust washer design to earlier machines, the existing case and cover need to be modified. The illustrations and dimension charts below show the required modifications for the appropriate models.

NOTE: Dimension (C) is the depth of the counterbore with diameter dimension (E) past the bottom surface of the large counterbore with depth dimension (B).
