Usage:
start by:
a) remove service meter
1. Disconnect tachometer cable from drive adapter assembly.
2. Remove two bolts (1) and clamps (2).
3. Remove two adapters (3) and tachometer drive gear (4).
4. Remove race, bearing, and race.

Do not let races or bearing fall into opening in governor drive housing when drive gear is removed. |
5. Make a separation of adapter assembly from adapter.
Install Tachometer Drive (If So Equipped)
1. Install a new O-ring seal (2) if needed. Put clean engine oil on the seal.
2. Install the adapter assembly (1) in adapter (3).
3. Install race, bearing, and race in governor drive housing.
4. Install tachometer drive gear (4) in governor drive housing (5) with large groove in shaft in the housing.
5. Install two adapters.
6. Install two clamps and bolts. Connect tachometer cable to drive adapter assembly.
