Idler tread diameter at 100 % worn ... 482 mm (19.0 in)
Diameter of idler tread (new) for rear idler on standard and XL undercarriage ... 475 ± 0.5 mm (18.7 ± .02 in)
Idler tread diameter at 100 % worn ... 457 mm (18 in)
(3) Torque for bolts ... 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft)
(4) Torque for bolts that hold idler to track roller frame ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
(5) Bearing depth from end of idler ... 20.0 ± 0.5 mm (.79 ± .02 in)
NOTE: Rubber toric seals and all surface in contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. Seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and toric must not be bulged or twisted. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly.
