Dump Body, Hoist and Steering Cylinders
Lubricate Pins
NOTICE |
---|
Check that the lines attached to all remote grease fittings are undamaged. If the lines are split grease will not reach the pins. Machine damage will result. |
Wipe all fittings clean before lubricating.
- 1. Lubricate the dump body pins through two fittings.
- 2. Lubricate the hoist cylinder pins through four fittings (two on each side of the machine).
- 3. Install the steering frame lock links and lubricate the steering cylinder pins through four fittings (1) and (2).
If regular lubrication is carried out at the recommended interval, only one or two shots will be required at each fitting. If the steering cylinder pin remote fittings (2) take more than two shots the lines may be split or damaged and grease will not reach the pins.
Brake Reservoir(s)
Check Fluid Level
If frequent additions of fluid are necessary, check the system for leaks.
The tractor brake reservoir is located on the left side of the machine, behind the cab.
The D400D trailer brake reservoir is located on the left side of the machine, in front of the dump body.
Remove the lid and check the fluid level. The level must be maintained at 12mm (0.5 in) below the top.
