Usage:
Challenger 65 Tractors
Description of Change: Applications with large hydraulic cylinders could force large quantities of oil back through the implement control circuit when gravity causes the implement to lower. This could result in damage to the implement pump retraction plate. An orifice connector with a 1.0 mm (.04") orifice has been added to the hydraulic oil lines group used on Challenger 65 Tractors. See the illustration. This orifice will reduce pressure spikes in the pump signal circuit that could damage the implement pump retraction plate.
Location of new 9X2614 Orifice Connector in the 3W5080 Hydraulic Oil Lines Group.
Adaptable To: The new 9X2614 Orifice Connector is a direct replacement for the 6V8636 Connector in the 3W5080 Hydraulic Oil Lines Group on Challenger 65 Tractors. The new orifice connector is in effect with Challenger 65 Tractor 7YC1270 and is adaptable to all earlier tractors.
