PRODUCT LINE ADDITIONS: REMANUFACTURED C15/C12/C10 BRIDGE LONG BLOCKS

Caterpillar announces the addition of Remanufactured C15/C12/C10 long blocks.

Reman long blocks expand the repair options available. When used with other Remanufactured products and reusable components from the core engine, long blocks help reduce turnaround time. These long blocks are fully assembled with the following major component groups:

The C10 and C12 long blocks are shipped with an engine oil pump, oil cooler core and fuel transfer pump. The C15 long block is shipped with an oil cooler core and a fuel transfer pump.

All engines returned as cores must meet the core acceptance guidelines as identified in the "Core Acceptance Criteria", SELD0029. Block groups from the MBN serial number engines are acceptable cores for the C15, MBL for the C12 and MBJ for the C10.

Please refer to the Caterpillar® Core Management Information System (CMIS 2) Parts Information application describing all reman part/CAF and related information. Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date.
