Usage:
Start By:
a. Remove the ride control diverter valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Diverter Valve (Ride Control) - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
1. Remove hose assembly (1), manifolds (2) and (3), bolt (4) and the washer from the diverter valve. Remove the O-ring seals from manifolds (2) and (3).
2. Remove locknut (6) and the washer. Remove coil assembly (5).
3. Remove cartridge (7) from the diverter valve.
4. Remove O-ring seal (8), O-ring seal (9), backup ring (10), O-ring seal (11) and backup ring (12) from cartridge (7).
5. Remove fitting (13) from housing (15). Remove the O-ring seal from fitting (13).
6. Remove four bolts (14) and housing (15) from the diverter valve.
7. Remove O-ring seal (16) from housing (15).
8. Remove plug (17) from the diverter valve. Remove the O-ring seal from plug (17).
9. Remove spool assembly (18) from the diverter valve.
Personal injury can result from parts under spring pressure. Spring force will be released when the spring retainers are removed. Be prepared to hold the spring as the retainers are removed. |
10. Pull back spring (19) and remove two retainers (20) from spool (18).
11. Remove fittings (21) and (22) from the diverter valve body. Remove the O-ring seals from fittings (21) and (22).
12. Remove two O-ring seals (23) from the diverter valve body.
13. Remove eight bolts (25), the washers, four half flanges (24) and two covers (26). Remove the O-ring seals from covers (26).
