Problem

Unable to adjust cab temperature on certain 773G, 775G, and 777G Off-Highway Trucks.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem and recommends the following interim corrective action.

Replace 238-8841 Control Valve As with improved 521-2576 Control Valve As and a 522-2362 Kit-Valve. Refer to Special Instruction, M0080228, "Procedure to Replace the Water Valve for the Heater Coil on Certain Motor Graders" for information on replacing the water valve.
