New 76.6°C (170°F) Water Temperature Regulators Used In Inlet Controlled Cooling Systems

Usage:

3500 Series Engines

Description of Change: The housing and regulator group used on inlet controlled cooling systems on the above engines has been changed to include a new water temperature regulator. Inlet controlled cooling systems are used primarily on marine engines.

The new water temperature regulator is a fast acting type and regulates at 76.6°C (170°F). The former water temperature regulator was a slower acting type that regulated at 82.2°C (180°F).

Adaptable As: The new 76.6°C (170°F) 4W4011 Water Temperature Regulator is a direct replacement for the former 82.2°C (180°F) 9N2894 Water Temperature Regulator used in the 8N7643 Inlet Controlled Housing and Regulator Group.
