New Software is Now Available for Certain C18 Tier 2 Industrial Engines {1920, 7620}

Usage:

C18 WJH
Industrial Engine
C18 INDUSTRIAL (S/N: WJH1-UP; WRH1-UP)

New software is now available for certain 570.5 kW (765 hp) and 596.6 kW (800 hp) C18 Tier 2 Industrial Engines that are listed above. The new software with updated governor gains provides better stability while operating the 570.5 kW (765 hp) and 596.6 kW (800 hp) C18 Tier 2 Engines at 2100 and 2130 rpm with less than 30 load (less than 2.5 mm (0.10 inch) rack).

Adjust the high idle to 2200-2300 rpm in Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) configurations and set your TSC1 command or input command from control to desired speed (high idle speed). 2130 rpm is the ideal high idle setting.

The new and the former software part numbers are listed in Table 1.
