Note: All high-pressure fuel line connections to be closed with protective caps from Tooling (B)
- Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position and turn the power disconnect switch to the OFF position.

- Remove plug (6), plug (7), plug (8), plug (9), plug (12), and hollow studs (13).

- Remove adapter assembly (15) and disconnect hose assembly (17).

- Remove plug (20), plug (21), plug (22), plug (23), plug (25), and hollow studs (26).
- Install fuel filter base (19) and fuel filter base (5) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (C) to the top
7.60 ± 0.80 mm (0.299 ± 0.031 inch) on the threads of hollow studs (13) and (26). - Tighten hollow studs (13) and (26) to a torque of
70 ± 15 N·m (52 ± 11 lb ft) . - Lubricate the seals of fuel filters (16) and (1) with the fluid that is being sealed.
- Use Tooling (A) to tighten fuel filters (16) and (1). Tighten fuel filters (16) and (1) to a complete turn after seal contacts with the base.
- Apply Tooling (C) to the top
