Mematikan engine dengan segera setelah bekerja dengan beban dapat mengakibatkan panas yang berlebihan serta keausan yang lebih cepat pada komponen-komponen engine. Apabila engine telah dioperasikan pada rpm yang tinggi dan/atau beban yang besar, jalankan engine pada kecepatan terendah selama sedikitnya tiga menit untuk mengurangi dan menstabilkan temperatur internal engine sebelum mematikan engine. Menghindari pemberhentian engine sewaktu masih panas akan memaksimalkan umur pemakaian poros turbocharger dan bantalan. |
- Kurangi rpm engine ke idle rendah.
- Tingkatkan rpm engine ke tidak lebih dari 50 persen rpm tetapan selama 3 hingga 5 menit untuk mendinginkan engine. Kurangi rpm engine ke idle rendah.
- Tekan sakelar "STOP".
