Auxiliary Water Pump - Disassemble

- Remove nuts (1). Remove cover (2) and the O-ring seal.
- Use Tooling (A) to remove impeller (3).

Illustration 3 g02402837 - Remove bolts (7) and thrust washer (8). Use a soft hammer and remove shaft (5) from the auxiliary water pump housing.
- Remove all of the seals and inspect the auxiliary water pump housing.
- If necessary, remove plug (6).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |
