Description of Change: A new pressure sensor and a buffer are used. The new sensor is more resistant to corrosion.

The new sensor is used as a jacket water pressure sensor on G3600 and G3500 Engines and Generator Sets.

The new sensor is used as a manifold air pressure sensor on G3500 Engines and Generator Sets.

The new sensor is used as a turbocharger compressor outlet pressure sensor on G3520B Engines that are used in petroleum applications.

The new sensor improves reliability in all of the above applications.

Adaptable To: The former 149-5150 Pressure Sensor Gp is replaced by the 276-6793 Pressure Sensor Gp and the 290-4619 Buffer. The 276-6793 Pressure Sensor Gp is a 0 to 5 Volt analog sensor. The 290-4619 Buffer converts an analog signal to a PWM signal.

The new parts are adaptable to the engines and generator sets that are listed above. Table 1 lists serial number effectivity for applications that used the former 149-5150 Pressure Sensor Gp as a jacket water pressure sensor.

Table 2 lists serial number effectivity for applications that used the former 149-5150 Pressure Sensor Gp as a manifold air pressure sensor.

Table 3 lists serial number effectivity for applications that used the former 149-5150 Pressure Sensor Gp as a turbocharger compressor outlet pressure sensor.
