The bearings in the 8X7924 Front Pump Drive may have been shimmed incorrectly, too loose. If the bearings were shimmed too loose it is possible to fail the bearing cages in the 2N3254 and/or 1P2662 Bearing Cones. This is only a problem with new or used, but not rebuilt, pump drives. If the pump drive has been rebuilt by the customer or dealer there should not be a problem. This only needs to be completed on machines with less than 5000 hours.
