Battery Charger (Standby)

Usage:

Remove & Install Battery Charger


Typical Example

1. Put switch (3) in the "OFF" (down) position.

2. Disconnect the batteries.

3. Disconnect line cord (2) from the AC power source.

4. With a screwdriver, turn locks (1) and open the door to the battery charger.

5. Identify and disconnect two wires (5) from "-Bat" and "+Bat" on the terminal strip.

6. Remove locknut (6) and the wiring harness.

7. Remove four bolts (3) and washers that hold battery charger (4) to the panel. Remove battery charger (4).

NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the battery charger.

8. Put the battery charger (4) in position and install four bolts (3) and the washers.

9. Connect two wires (5) "-Bat" and "+ Bat" to their correct locations. Tighten locknut (6).

10. Close the door to the battery charger. Turn locks (1) to hold the door closed.

11. Connect the batteries.

12. Connect line cord (2) to an AC power source. Put switch (3) in the "ON" (up) position.
