Engine Oil Filter Base - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Ensure that the O-ring seals are in position on the engine oil filter base. Put engine oil filter base (6) in position on the engine oil cooler and the cylinder block.
Note: Before assembly, check the condition of the O-ring seals. If the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

- Install bolts (5) that hold the engine oil filter base to the cylinder block.
- Install the bolts and nuts (4) that hold the engine oil filter base to the engine oil cooler.
- Connect oil tube assembly for the turbocharger (1) .

- Install plug (2) .
- Install oil filter (3). Follow directions on the oil filter.
- Fill the engine crankcase with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" in the Maintenance Section.
