PROBLEM
The existing flywheel housing can fail on certain 385C and 390D Excavators. Thrust loading of the left RPTO (Rear Power Take Off) gear causes the RPTO gear to wear into the flywheel housing. The wear is caused by the swing pump stack and should not affect the RPTO gear. The wear will cause a worn area on the flywheel housing. |
