Purge System

An air purge system has been utilized in the CPS361 Cement Pumper. The system provides a air purge to the following components that is classified as "Type Z":control panel, digital gauge, interconnect barrier/junction box and battery disconnect enclosure This is a continuous air purge. The air purge system should be activated for a minimum of 7 minutes prior to energizing the power to the control system. An indicator that is located on the front of the enclosure provides a quick reference for the operator. A green light indicates that the system is working correctly. A red light warns the operator that the air purge system has failed. Verify that all enclosure doors are properly secured and verify that the air supply is still pressurized. The enclosure for the air purge system is located to the right hand side of the control console. Proper operation of the CPS361 Cement Pumper depends on the supply of clean, dry air.

Note: For units with the Class I Division II Groups C, D Hazardous Location CSA Certification, the supply of clean, dry air is a requirement.
