If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing cab harness needs to be reworked on certain 308E CR/SR Mini Hydraulic Excavators. The existing cab harness can allow a diode to fail resulting in the malfunctioning of the wiper. |

1. Lower the front of a recliner in order to access the cab harness. |

2. Cut a cable strap under the air conditioning unit. Refer to Image1.2.1 and Image1.2.2. |

3. Remove the 121-1022 Diode from a cab harness. The removed diode will not be reused. Refer to Image1.3.1. |

4. Install an additional harness and diode to the cab harness. Refer to Image1.4.1. |

5. Tie the additional harness and diode to the cab harness. Refer to Image1.5.1. |

6. Check wiper function. In order to confirm that the wiper function is working, first use the radio. Turn on the window wiper and window washer several times. This Rework Procedure has been completed if the wiper blade returned to the designated place. Refer to Image1.6.1. |
