New Software Version Is Now Used on Certain Telehandlers {7610, 7620}

Description Of Change: New software version is now used on the machines listed above. This new software version will improve the parking brake performance.

Adaptable To: The improved procedure is adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

The new software version is 1001170753vP1_11. Refer to Special Instruction M0078608 for updating the new software version in the 473-0008 Controller.

If error codes beginning with 33 (i.e. 33xxx) occur immediately after the update, then the machine setup needs to be adjusted. This error is particularly common on TL642D prefixes S/N:ML8 and ; S/N:MLG machines. The software incorrectly assumes the blocking valve is installed as part of the Gravity Lower System, refer to Salesgram, TEKQ1415.

Procedure to Adjust the Machine Setup

Use the following procedure for the listed serial numbers as mentioned in Table 1:

Refer to UENR6276 "Service Manual - Analyzer Software Accessibility", if needed.

  1. Access the machine software using either the 421-5320 Cable Kit with the 517-9882 Software, or the 330-5251 Controller Kit.

  2. Navigate to "Machine Setup" and record all the settings in case they are needed for future reference.

  3. Navigate to "Access Level" and input the code 33271 so you are Access Level 2. Use caution as you will now be able to change settings. There will also now be additional items in the menus.

  4. Navigate to "Machine Setup- Precision Lowering." Change it from Yes to No. Exit "Machine Setup."

  5. Turn the key OFF. Wait for 5 minutes.

  6. Turn the key ON.

  7. Confirm the machine now functions correctly.
