415F2 and 427F2 Backhoe Loaders Engine Supplement Caterpillar

Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Open hood and remove right side panel.

1. Disconnect hoses (3) and remove flexible exhaust pipe (4) from turbocharger (1) .

2. Remove banjo bolt (2), nut (6) and the tube. Remove bolts (7) and disconnect the tube.

3. Remove nuts (5) and turbocharger (1) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install turbocharger (1) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten nuts (5) to a torque of 28 N·m (248 lb in).

   2. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in).

   3. Tighten banjo bolt (2) to a torque of 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

   4. Tighten nut (6) to a torque of 25 N·m (221 lb in).
