Alternator Belt - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

- Open the engine enclosure.
- Open the left side access door and turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Remove three bolts (2), the three washers, and belt guard (1) .

- Install a 1/2" square drive tool into hole in tensioner (4). From the front of the engine, turn the tool in a clockwise direction.

Note: Mark the direction of rotation of the alternator belt if the belt will be reused.
- Insert Tooling (A) into tensioner (4) .
- Remove alternator belt (3) .
Installation Procedure
- Install alternator belt (3) in the reverse order of removal.
