Product Data Sheet, PEHP5042, "Cleanout Filters".

New cleanout filters are available for quick, efficient removal of contaminants from hydraulic systems and drive trains. The new filters outperform standard filters and fire resistant elements formerly used as a cleanout option.

Benefits

* Quick removal of fine particles.
* Reduced exposure and concentration of abrasives to critical components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and seals, etc.).
* Reduced wear of critical components.
* Longer wear life of critical components.
* Extended oil life.
* A unique filter, a blend of synthetic and paper media.

* The filter element is rated 6 microns absolute.

NOTICE

NOTICE Before using new cleanout filters to clean hydraulic systems having major component failure, flush system completely. Use new cleanout filters when contamination after Scheduled Oil Sampling (S*O*S) program indicates particle count is above acceptable limits. If elevated particle counts continue, find the source and correct the problem. Limit use of new cleanout filters to 250 hours. Do not use new cleanout filters in systems using fire resistant fluid (water glycol). Water glycol will break down the filter element and system contamination will occur. Use the standard fire resistant filters.
