Fuel In Crankcase Oil

Usage:

Possible Causes/Corrections

Loose Inner Fuel Injection Line Nut(s)

A loose fuel injection line nut or a defective O-ring seal on the end of the adapter inside the cylinder head can cause fuel leakage into the crankcase. Check for a defective O-ring seal and tighten nuts to 40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft).

Fuel Nozzle Leaks

Loose bleed screw or leaking bleed screw washer will cause fuel dilution in the crankcase. Check for defective bleed screw washers or damaged bleed screw washer face. Make sure the bleed screws are tightened to 1.6 ± 0.4 N·m (14 ± 4 lb ft).
