A new oil filter is now used in the oil filter group for the circuit. The new oil filter uses a round O-ring seal (2). The base assembly in the oil filter group is compatible with a round O-ring seal. The former oil filter used an O-ring seal (1) that is a square seal. The square seal on the former oil filter may allow hydraulic oil to leak from the system.
The new 9T-8578 Oil Filter (Hydraulic) is a direct replacement for the former 4T-6788 Oil Filter (Hydraulic) in the 249-2334 Oil Filter Gp. The new oil filter is adaptable back to the beginning of production of the machines. The new oil filter became effective in production with the following machines. BZZ159-UP, RLB342-UP, JRP915-UP, EED533-UP and DLS520-UP
The 249-2334 Oil Filter Gp is part of the 229-2098 Steering Lines Gp, the 269-9203 Hydraulic Tank Gp and the 270-2660 Hydraulic Tank Gp.
