Fuel In Engine Oil
Usage:
ENGINES3126 (1WM) TRUCK ENGINES
Problem:
There have been some reports of excessive diesel fuel in the engine oil. Investigation indicates the problem may be excessive porosity of some 131-2197 Fuel Filter Base Assemblies in the 131-2198 Fuel Filter Group.
Solution:
If you have this problem, replace the 131-2197 Fuel Filter Base Assembly with a 143-3506 Fuel Filter Base Assembly. Replace the oil filter and engine oil. The components required to install the 143-3506 Fuel Filter Base Assembly are listed below:
