NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45855" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing tandem chain pins can shear on certain 16M 3 Motor Graders. If the existing chains fail it can cause additional damage to brake and final drive components. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Do not order any chains for this program. The new chains required for this program have been shipped to applicable dealer branch for each machine in their territory. If you have not received the parts, the parts received are damaged, or if you have any questions you will need to work with your Dealer TC to submit the information or question through CPI Feedback within the Service Information Management System (SIMSi). Give the information to your Dealer Technical Communicator (TC) along with this service letter program number and CPI number 415042. Request the Dealer TC to submit the CPI Feedback. Replace all four chains from both tandems. |
