Usage:

Rotation is counterclockwise at half engine speed when seen from drive end.

(1) 6L3890 Spring for overspeed trip (1500 to 1700 rpm engines):

Length under test force ... .90 in.(22.9 mm)

Test force ... 1.12 to 1.32 lb.(4.98 to 5.87 N)

Free length after test ... 1.120 in.(28.45 mm)

Outside diameter ... .406 in.(10.31 mm)

(1) 6L3891 Spring for overspeed trip (1800 to 2000 rpm engines):

Length under test force ... .90 in.(22.9 mm)

Test force ... 1.64 to 1.92 lb.(7.29 to 8.54 N)

Free length after test ... 1.220 in.(30.99 mm)

Outside diameter ... .406 in.(10.31 mm)

(2) 7L2116 Spring for release rod:

Length under test force ... 4.03 in.(102.4 mm)

Test force ... 45 lb.(200 N)

Free length after test ... 7.03 in.(178.6 mm)

Outside diameter ... .579 to .599 in.(14.71 to 15.22 mm)

Distance from face of adapter to center of yoke on linkage ... 2.25 in.(57.2 mm)

NOTE: One turn of weight adjustment screw changes setting 45 to 50 rpm.

(3) Distance between end of cable assembly and rack shutoff lever with rack at full fuel position ... .06 in.(1.5 mm)
