Fuel Injection Lines
Usage:
Remove Fuel Injection Lines
NOTE: The fuel filter was removed for photo illustration.
1. Disconnect fuel injection lines (2) from the fuel injection pump and the cylinder head.
2. Disconnect four fuel line clamps (1) from the cylinder head.
3. Remove fuel injection lines (2). Put caps and plugs on all fuel line connections to keep foreign material out of the fuel system.
Install Fuel Injection Lines
1. Remove caps and plugs from fuel line connections. Put fuel injection lines (2) in position and connect four fuel line clamps (1) to the cylinder head.
2. Tighten fuel injection line nuts (3) to a torque of 30 ± 5 lb.ft. (40 ± 7 N·m) with tool (A).
