Oil Manifold

Usage:

Remove And Install Oil Manifold

start by:

a) remove oil pump

b) remove oil filter

c) remove selector valve

1. Remove four bolts and lockwashers (2) that hold the manifold (1) to housing (4).


NOTICE

Use a soft hammer to make a separation of the manifold (1) from housing (4) so damage does not result to the O-ring seal and ferrule and ring type seals that have a location on the end of the oil pump drive shaft (3).


2. Remove the manifold (1).

3. Remove and inspect the O-ring seal that has a location between the hole (6) and the manifold (1). Make a replacement of the seal if it is broken or damaged.

NOTE: Before the installation of the oil manifold (1) is made, be sure the ring type seals that have a location on the end of the oil pump drive shaft are in a locked position.

4. Put 7M7260 Liquid Gasket Material on metal surface (5) and on the metal surface of the oil manifold (1) that makes contact with surface (5).

5. Carefully put the oil manifold (1) with O-ring seal in position and install with four bolts and lockwashers (2).
