The Inside Door Handles Need To Be Replaced On Certain 528B And 530B Skidders Caterpillar

NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3667" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T " as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3667" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Problem

The inside receiver on the door latch may fail and the door handles need to be replaced on certain 528B and 530B Skidders.

Parts Needed

Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.

2- 8T3504 Handle Assembly

1- 8Y6360 Latch Assembly (right-hand door)*

1- 8Y6361 Latch Assembly (left-hand door)*

Action Required

Remove the existing 2 - 6V2375 Handle Assemblies from the inside of the doors. Install 2 new 8T3504 Handle Assemblies using the existing hardware. Inspect the receiver in the latch assembly for possible damage. Replace the latch assemblies as required.
