NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0690" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 8C5330, 8C6135, or 3E0469 Transmission Shift Control Group on certain 910E and 910F Loaders and IT12B and IT14B Tool Carriers may fail as a result of excessive electrical current drawn by the 3T1815 Backup Alarm when shifting into reverse.

Parts Needed
Action Required
Remove the failed shift control and the existing backup alarm. Install a new 1093596 Control Group and a new 3T1815 Alarm.
NOTE: The existing alarm should appear as shown to the left in the below illustration. Remove it and install a new 3T1815 Alarm as shown to the right in the below illustration.
NOTE: Powering backup lights or other loads directly from the backup alarm circuit may damage the transmission control. If additional loads are used, a relay should be installed to reduce the current requirement. The correct fuse for the transmission control is 10 amps. Do not use a larger fuse.
