The Coolant Lines Between The Engine Jacket Water Pump And The Brake Oil Cooler Need To Be Changed On Certain 994 Loaders Caterpillar

NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3652" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T " as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3652" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Problem

The coolant lines between the engine jacket water pump and the brake oil cooler may come loose allowing a rapid loss of engine coolant on certain 994 Loaders.

Rework Procedure

1. Remove the existing coolant lines between the engine jacket water pump outlet and the coolant inlet to the brake oil cooler.

2. Remove the coolant lines between the brake oil cooler coolant outlet and torque converter oil cooler coolant outlet.

3. Install the new parts listed below as shown in the illustration.
