The STIC Control Group Handle On Certain 992D Loaders Needs To Be Replaced Caterpillar

NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1223" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T " as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1223" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

NOTE: Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from parts stock as soon as possible.

The trigger of the 3E0090 Control Group STIC handle on certain 992 Loaders may fail and needs to be replaced.

Action Required

Parts Stock

Remove all 3E0090 Control Groups from parts stock.

Affected Product

Remove the existing 3E0090 Control Group and replace it with a new 1086964 Control Group. If a new 1086964 Control Group has already been installed on the machine, complete a SIMS ticket to update the machine's records.
