5P4812 Gauge Group Components Available Separately
Usage:
All Engines That Have Pistons With Keystone Ring Grooves
The separate parts of the 5P4812 Piston Ring Groove Gauge Group are now available. The three gauges were formerly available only as a complete group.
The part numbers of the gauges and their dimensions are shown in the chart. Also, available are the 5P4227 Tag Holder and an instruction card, Form SEHS7757.
It is Caterpillar's recommendation that the piston ring groove gauges be checked for accuracy regularly with a second set of gauges, which can be kept as a master set.
