New Crankshaft Seal Group Has Assembled Rear Seal And Wear Sleeve

Usage:

All 3208 Industrial And Marine Engines

Description of Change: A new crankshaft seal group that has both the rear seal and the wear sleeve is used in all 3208 Industrial and Marine Engines.

The advantage of the new group is that the lip-type, rear seal and wear sleeve are already assembled, and they have the correct lubricant on them. Since the parts are already assembled, the lip on the seal is not easily damaged during installation.

Formerly, a separate rear seal and wear sleeve were used. The lip on the seal was easily damaged during assembly. As a result, oil leakage was possible.

Adaptable As: The new 1W36 Crankshaft Seal Group is a direct replacement for the former 9L7600 and 9L7736 Seals and the 9L8336 Sleeve in this application.

The new seal group is in effect with engine Serial Numbers 90N55990, 75V7741, 3Z1636 and 1Z1399.
