New Washers Permit Locks To Hold Better
Usage:
All 3408 and 3412 Engines
Description of Change: New washers are used under the locks in the fuel injection lines group on the above engines. These new washers are thinner and permit the locks to hold the fuel line adapters tighter. This will decrease the possibility of movement of the adapters when the fuel line nuts are tightened.
Formerly the fuel line adapters have at times moved when fuel line nuts were tightened. The former washer did not permit the locks to fit correctly on the adapters.
Adaptable As: The new 4L1468 Washers are a direct replacement for the former 6B9976 Washers in this application. Eight washers are needed for 3408 Engines and 12 washers for 3412 Engines.
