New Cover Assembly And Gasket Used In Oil Pump Group

Description of Change: A new cover assembly, plate, O-ring seal, and gasket are used in the oil pump for the shut-off group on the above engines. The new parts will improve pump efficiency and permit a better seal between the cover assembly and housing.
Liquid gasket material was used with the former cover assembly. The gasket material had to be put on as a thin layer (with a silk screen). This was difficult for field service. If the application of gasket material was not correct, oil leakage was possible.
Adaptable As: The new parts, when used together are a direct replacement for the former part.
