New Chart Has "D379, D398, D399 Lubrication And Maintenance Checklist"
Usage:
A chart, Form SEBU5805, is available that gives a "D379, D398, D399 Lubrication And Maintenance Checklist". The chart is for use with any of these engines in industrial and marine applications. It is a fast reference for regular maintenance and can be hung or put in a binder.
The front of the chart shows illustrations of the components that must be serviced and the correct interval for each.
The different color of each illustration is a code for service intervals:
- green - 10 hours
- gold - 50 hours
- brown - 500 hours
- red - 1000 hours
- yellow - 2000 hours
- blue - hours variable - see chart.
- gold - 50 hours
The back of the chart gives more complete information about the lubrication and maintenance procedures. Refill capacities and specifications for lubricant, fuel and coolant are also on the back of the chart.
